Running River Trail 5K Run and 1 mile Run/Walk will be held at Lake Pomme de Terre, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Outlet Park at 9:30am. You can pre-register or register on the day of the race starting at 7:30am and no later than 9:15am. Trophy awards will be given to the overall Female/Male. T-shirts to the first 125 entrants. Fees include $15 for award seekers/$10 for non-award seeking participants.

Horses of Hope?Missouri, Inc. in Buffalo, MO is excited to announce the dates for it?s annual summer Horse Lovers Camp for kids 6 years old and up. Each Monday in July (5, 12, 19, 26) from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM we will be giving the horse lover in your family a chance to fulfill their dreams, spend the day with horses. Campers will be instructed on topics including safety while working around and riding horses, horse care and management, veterinary procedures, feeds and feeding, tack and other equipment, grooming, saddling, bridling and of course, learning how to ride western style. Camp will be supervised by a NARHA certified riding instructor. Lessons will be taught in the indoor arena while mounted and dismounted. Classroom topics will be held in an air-conditioned classroom.
You may choose to attend any or all of the days, cost is $40 per day or $150 for all four days. Bring your own sack lunch, snacks will be provided. The Lucas Oil ASCS Midwest Region Sprint Cars along with the Winged Outlaw Warriors Sprint Cars are set to invade the Lucas Oil Speedway this Saturday night, May 1st for the first big Winged Sprint Car Show of the Season. The TNT Quick Shop Late Models and the Carson's Corner Napa Factory Stocks will also be in action for this can't miss special event. Springfield, Nebraska hot shoe Jack Dover leads the Lucas Oil ASCS Midwest Region contingent into battle with a 28 point lead over Giltner, Nebraska's Chad Humston after scoring an early season win at Nebraska's I-80 Speedway. Johnathan Cornell, from Sedalia, Missouri leads the Winged Outlaw Warriors into battle with a slim 2-point lead over California, Missouri's Randy Martin and Falcon, Missouri's Eric Todd. Cornell and Martin have each shared the WOW Victory Lane so far this season with Cornell picking up the win at LA Raceway and Martin snaring the $3,000 top prize at the LOS Spring Nationals at Lake Ozark Speedway. Martin also added a Main Event win at Sedalia State Fair Speedway's opening night on April 16th. Smithton, Missouri's Josh Fisher, and Farmington's Dustin Barks round out the Top-5 in the WOW standings after two events. Darin Walker holds a three point lead over Walnut Grove, Missouri's Jeremy Kelly in the TNT Quick Shop ULMA Late Models after one week of racing action. Warrensburg, Missouri's Jon Binning holds down the third spot just 5 points out of the lead with 2009 Track Champion Tommy Cordray in fourth and Springfield's R.D. Peterson in fifth.
Defending Track Champion Kenny Carroll leads the standings in the Carson's Corner Napa Factory Stocks by just 5 points over Wheatland, Missouri's Chip Shaddox. Stoutland, Missouri's "Downtown" Tim Brown sits in a tie for third with Urich, Missouri's Troy Reasoner Jr. Dylan Keepper holds down the fifth spot only 9 points behind the leader after one night of racing action.
Spectator Gates open at 5:00 with Hot Laps set to get under way at 6:30 with the first big race of the night at 7:05pm. Horses of Hope?Missouri, Inc. in Buffalo, MO is excited to announce the dates for it?s annual summer Horse Lovers Camp for kids 6 years old and up. Each Monday in July (5, 12, 19, 26) from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM we will be giving the horse lover in your family a chance to fulfill their dreams, spend the day with horses. Campers will be instructed on topics including safety while working around and riding horses, horse care and management, veterinary procedures, feeds and feeding, tack and other equipment, grooming, saddling, bridling and of course, learning how to ride western style. Camp will be supervised by a NARHA certified riding instructor. Lessons will be taught in the indoor arena while mounted and dismounted. Classroom topics will be held in an air-conditioned classroom.
You may choose to attend any or all of the days, cost is $40 per day or $150 for all four days. Bring your own sack lunch, snacks will be provided.
